Quantify heterogeneous biology

Not all cells are created equal and cellular heterogeneity drives critical physiological and disease processes. Bulk analysis only provides an average result, and flow cytometry is limited to a point in time. The Celldom platform collects a full range of molecular and functional readouts from each cell under standard culture conditions across hours or days. These readouts include detection of secreted proteins, identification of important morphological changes, characterization of cellular migration, quantification of  gene expression and measurements of cell surface protein levels.

Directly observe dynamic cell behavior

Single-cell resolution doesn’t require strict isolation and the un-natural absence of interactions or environment. The Celldom platform allows versatile experimental design to measure the impact of external influences, such as target cells on effector cell secretions or growth, or application of drugs. Automated image acquisition, incubation, and real-time data analysis enables end-to-end single-cell characterization. Software modules identify cells by type, calculate growth rates, monitor cell-cell interactions, such as T-cell killing assays, and display statistical differences between experimental conditions.

High-throughput for rare cell sensitivity or efficient production

Traditional approaches to identify, isolate, and examine rare cells can require months of labor-intensive work, prohibitive for the early stages of drug candidate identification or for manufacturing processes and QC. The Celldom platform, free from complicated microfluidics, automates processing and multi-parameter analysis of >100,000 cells per plate under stringent environmental control. Celldom microwell arrays are manufactured in standard culture plate format and have been demonstrated compatible with myriad cell types.
